Ertugrul - feature film premiere

Our Istanbul studio created the CG for a feature film ‘Erturgrul’ working with the Toei Animation in Japan. It was premiered in Istanbul in January and was a huge success.

Celebrating the 125th anniversary of their friendship Turkey and Japan collaboratively made a movie, Ertu Grul 1890. CCVFX worked closely with Toei Animation Japan and created the beautiful CG.

Carrying the friendship between Turkey and Japan to the silver screen, Ertuğrul 1890’s Istanbul premiere, held on December 24, Thursday, at Zorlu Performing Arts Center, was attended many prominent names, such as Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mahir Ünal, former Minister of Culture and Tourism Ömer Çelik, Japan’s Turkey Ambassador Yutaka Yokoi, Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Kadir Topbaş, Ahmet Misbah Demircan, Başaran Ulusoy and Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu. In his speech, Prime Minister Ahmet Davuoğlu talked about the cemented relationship between two countries that started a long time ago and emphasized that this friendship would only grow stronger in the future.

The film portrays two tragic events 95 years apart – one in Kushimoto in 1890 and the other in Tehran in 1985 – and how the two people unconditionally helped each other, Ertuğrul 1890 came out in Turkey on December 25.
